guitars

The selection of the best materials is essential for the construction of a good guitar, and that is why I only use wood of the highest quality and with the right drying time.

On the other hand, the study of the finishes of many ancient instruments has made me realize that the predominant varnish nowadays, shellac in French polish, is not necessarily the best mechanical and acoustic performance. For this reason, although in specific cases I can use it, I have replaced French polish for varnishes based on resin-rich oil, much more efficient at acoustic level and much more durable and stable. Not in vain are those who have protected the stringed instruments for centuries

Finally, I choose the appropriate strings for each type of instrument, either in terms of tension and material, so that each guitar that comes out of my workshop gives the best of itself.
